General Care      ANSARA jewelry has been designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards. Proper care and maintenance will preserve the beauty and shine of your ANSARA jewelry.
Take care to avoid exposing jewelry to substances containing bleach or ammonia and remove your jewelry before swimming in chlorinated water. Always put your jewelry on after you dress to avoid contact with perfumes, cosmetics or other household chemicals.

Storage      We recommend that you store your ANSARA jewelry in the jewelry box provided with your order. You can also store your jewelry in any air-tight container or bag. Proper storage helps to prevent scratching of stones and metal. To avoid scratches, each piece of jewelry should be stored separately and bracelets should always be stored flat.
It is best to keep jewelry away from extreme heat or moisture. Be careful not to place heavy objects on top of your jewelry during storage and to be gentle when putting on or removing your jewelry.

Sterling Silver      Exposure to air, dust or other elements, particularly those containing sulfur, may cause sterling silver to tarnish more rapidly. There are a number of non-abrasive silver polishes on the market specifically designed to remove tarnish. Always read the warning label and take care when using polishes on jewelry containing gemstones

22K and 18K Gold Plated      Gold Plated jewelry is made by covering the jewelry piece with a very thin layer of gold. Since the gold layer is so thin and reactive, it will eventually wear away despite your best attempts to preserve it. This wearing away process can take as little as a year depending on whether a barrier was created to separate the layers and if the gold is reactive to your skin acid. Keep gold-plated jewelry away from hard surfaces. Bumps and scratches will cause the gold layer to wear away faster. Store your gold-plated jewelry in a velvet lined jewelry box, or wrap it in a soft material that will prevent scratches. Lightly wipe your gold-plated jewelry with a damp cotton cloth. This will help to eliminate any dirt or dust from accumulating on the surface and wearing away the gold layer.
